Karl I. Nelson, PE is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Florida. Additionally, Karl is certified as a Special Inspector, qualified for the Inspection of Threshold Buildings, as established by Florida Statute 471.015. Karl has been working in the field of Structural Engineering in the State of Florida for 20+ years. He has extensive experience in the structural design of low-rise commercial and residential structures. He has served in many capacities from Delegate Engineer to the Engineer of Record for projects. Karl is competitive, and works hard to make sure his designs are the highest quality in the business. He is eager and excited to take on new projects and continue his professional development to new levels.
Joshua Dughman graduated from the University of Miami in 2019 with a degree in Architectural Engineering. He has been inspecting and designing structural systems ever since. He earned his P.E. in 2023 in architectural engineering. He enjoys everything about buildings and understanding how the systems integrate together to create a functional whole. Fun fact - he used to be afraid of heights but not anymore!
Kenneth Stoner graduated from Florida State in 2023. He is currently an E.I. working towards my P.E license. He helps the E.O.R with reviews, assists with building designs, and helps conduct field inspections.
Michael Zulauf has been working at Nelson Structural Consultants full time since the beginning of August as the lead draftsman. He has 6 years of experience with AutoCAD and enjoys the process of putting designs to paper.
